Nestled in the rural landscape surrounding Marysville are four family owned Christmas Tree farms where you can continue your tradition or start one.


A. Heimbush Farms

Heimbush Farms is a family owned and operated business started by Steve & Peggy Heimbush. They planted their first trees in 1992 and opened for business in 1999. They enjoy helping families find the perfect tree and make wonderful memories!

B. Irwin's Farm

Irwin Farm is a fourth generation former dairy farm located on Collins Road just on the west side of Route 4. Cows having long disappeared from the farm but Christmas Trees began appearing on fallow pasture land in the spring of 2003. The farm now boasts hundreds of nicely shaped Scotch Pine and Spruce trees between 5 and 12 feet tall ready to beautify any foyer, living room, or den this Christmas. Thousands of smaller trees, including two plantings of Canaan Fir trees, are growing quickly to deliver holiday cheer for many years to come. Irwin Farm welcomes whole families to build or perpetuate a wholesome Christmas tradition of trekking into the field in search of that perfect tree and returning with the lifelong memories of the shared family experience. After filling a cup with hot cocoa or coffee from the toasty sales office, revelers can board a vintage tractor-pulled wagon for a hayride directly to the areas of the farm boasting the choicest trees. Upon return from the field, helpful elves will shake the tree to remove loose needles and then wrap the tree in netting for a safe trip home. Also offering tree drilling and pin stands that will hold any tree straight and secure in mere seconds.

C. Rush's Tree Farm

> Choose & Cut White Pine, Scotch Pine, Norway Spruce, and Canaan Fir trees > Pre-cut Fraser Fir trees > Grave Blankets > Grave Pillows > Wreaths Dogs are welcomed on leashes!

Appointments are available upon request. Due to COVID-19 we are requiring customers to wear face masks when they bring their tree to be netted and to pay where a 6-foot social distancing is a challenge. Trees are individually priced and start at $20. Prices include tree shaking, netting and sales tax. Hours

D. Whiteside Evergreens

Whiteside Evergreens has been growing trees in Ohio since 1979 by Allen Whiteside. Allen has a wealth of knowledge and experience in bringing out the best landscaping designs. Whiteside grows evergreens in Union County and Harrison County and is inspected annually by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Their trees are freshly cut to provide you with the best Christmas trees around. Their trees vary in size, from apartment size trees to enormous 16 ft trees.
