Objective

The Union County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) Tourism Grant Program was established to enhance the economic impact of tourism in our community. These grants, available to non-profit, for-profit, and municipality organizations, assist with marketing, promotion, product development, and event enhancement that increases destination appeal, and enhances the visitor’s experience that results in increased visitation and room night generation.

There is currently $2,500 available for Quick Grants, those not needing approval from the Union County Board of Commissioners, for grant requests of $1,000 (or less). The Union County CVB administers the grant under contract with the Union County Board of Commissioners, which is funded through a portion of the lodging tax. Grant applications are available online at visitunioncountyohio.org, are reviewed by the Tourism Grant Committee and are awarded annually.
